OM SHANTI SHANTI SHANTI
The Shanti Mantras or “Peace Mantras” are Hindu Prayers for Peace (Shanti), that are found in the Ancient Vedas. Shanti Mantras always end with three utterances of the word “Shanti,” in order to remove obstacles in the three realms: Physical, Divine, & Internal (Adhi-Bhautika, Adhi-Daivika, & Adhyaatmika)

OM MANI PADME HUM
This is the most famous and well-known of Buddhist mantras and it literally translates to, “Hail, the Jewel in the Lotus.” It is more of an invocation of the Bodhisattva of Compassion, Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig), the Protector. This mantra was specifically created to be a Protection Talisman, to keep all my Peoples’ safe from harm.

SACRED SYLLABLES
This print consists of 4 very powerful mantras, including the two mentioned above. The other two mantras are, “OM AMIDEVA HRIH” and “OM VAJRAPANI HUM.” The first, “OM AMIDEVA HRIH,” is the Mantra of Amitabha, one of the 5 Dhyani-Buddhas in Eastern Buddhism, who represents love and compassion. Amitabha’s Mantra is a variant of his name, meaning “Infinite Divinity” or “Infinite Radiance.” The second mantra, “OM VAJRAPANI HUM” is the mantra of Vajrapani, “Holder of the thunderbolt,” which he uses to cut through the darkness of delusion. He represents the energy of the enlightened mind and his mantra symbolizes that quality.
